Welcome,

The Serbian Nutrition Society (SNS) was established in 1956y as an independent non-profit organization. It has a tradition of gathering established experts and young ones from the fields of human and veterinary medicine, pharmacy, biology, chemistry, biochemistry, agriculture, food technology, food microbiology, dietitians-nutritionists and others with similar interests.

In 2023 SNS hosted the 14th European Nutrition Conference (ENC) with 1500 participants, mainly from Europe, but also from other continents.
The program of the 15th national congress on nutrition will cover wide areas across nutritional science plenary and parallel sessions, as well as oral and poster presentations. The programme will also include panel discussions/round tables and young experts’ presentations, exhibitions and satellite symposia by food production and food trade stakeholder.
Belgrade is the capital of Serbia situated at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers. It is an important educational center. The University of Belgrade is on the Shanghai ranking list, one of the 500 most valuable universities in the world. It is also a cultural center with interesting museums, theatres, art festivals, but also with lot of gastronomical events at local restaurants with traditional cuisine and music.

Registration fee includes participation of the Congress sessions, certificate of attendance, abstract publishing, lunch and refreshments during coffee breaks.

Abstracts should be prepared in English language, not more than 400 words, submitted via an online submission system. Please register with the abstract and full paper submission website and establish your user’s name and password on http://conu2024.com. One can submit no more than two abstracts or full papers. Dead line for abstract and full papers submission is July 31st 2024. Please ensure that research findings are described to a level sufficient for reviewers who are in charge for making decision on scientific quality. Abstracts and full papers that fail to meet these criteria will be rejected. Accepted abstracts and full papers will be published in the Electronic Book of Congress Proceedings. Accepted papers will be published in the scientific journal Food and Nutrition published by the SNS. Authors are expected to follow the statements of the Instruction on the method of cooperation between the Serbian Nutrition Society and food business operators in prevention of conflicts of interest that will be available at the Congress web presentation.

During three Congress days there will be a nice opportunity for food companies and services to present their products, equipment, materials and programs throughout the exhibition space and symposia. We welcome industry and non-commercial groups to propose symposia. All proposed symposia will be approved by the Scientific Board before inclusion in the program.
